How do I connect my phone to the ELD device?
Section titled “How do I connect my phone to the ELD device?”Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone. In the app, go to the home screen and tap the ELD connection indicator. Select your ELD device from the list of available devices. The device name usually matches your vehicle or unit number. Once paired, the connection status will turn green.
Why won’t my phone connect to the ELD?
Section titled “Why won’t my phone connect to the ELD?”First, ensure the ELD device is powered on and within range (typically 30 feet). Toggle Bluetooth off and on, then retry. If the issue persists, restart the app and the ELD device. Make sure no other phone is already connected to the ELD — only one device can pair at a time. Check Troubleshooting → ELD Connection Issues for detailed steps.
How do I change my duty status?
Section titled “How do I change my duty status?”From the home screen, tap the duty status button at the bottom. Select your new status: Driving, On Duty, Sleeper Berth, or Off Duty. What happens when the ELD automatically changes my status?
Section titled “What happens when the ELD automatically changes my status?”When the vehicle moves at 5 mph or faster, the ELD automatically sets your status to Driving. When the vehicle stops for 5 consecutive minutes (configurable), you’ll be prompted to confirm whether you’re still driving or want to switch to another status. These automatic changes are FMCSA-required behaviors.
How do I view and certify my daily logs?
