Station Locator (Maps)

RouteMate includes a built-in map that helps you find nearby fuel stations, truck stops, and other points of interest while you are on the road.

Tap the Maps icon in the bottom navigation bar to open the station locator. The map will load and show your current location along with nearby station markers.

The map displays station pins at the locations of fuel stations, truck stops, and other relevant stops. When you tap on a pin, you will see details about that station, including:

  • Address — the street address of the station.
  • Distance — how far the station is from your current location.
  • Phone Number — a contact number for the station (if available). You can tap it to call directly.
  • Website — a link to the station’s website (if available).

Tip: Planning your fuel stops ahead of time? Scroll and zoom the map along your route to see what stations are available further down the road.

If you are looking for a specific type of stop, use the filter options to narrow down what is shown on the map. This lets you focus on just fuel stations, truck stops, or other categories depending on what you need.

You can change how the map looks to suit your preference:

  • Switch between different map styles (such as standard, satellite, or terrain views) using the map style controls.
  • The map also supports light and dark mode. If you have the app set to dark mode, the map will automatically adjust to a darker color scheme that is easier on your eyes during nighttime driving.

Note: The map uses your device’s GPS to show your current location. Make sure location services are enabled for RouteMate so the map can center on your position and show accurate distances to nearby stations.
