Video Library

The Video Library is where you access all video footage from your camera-equipped fleet vehicles. Whether you need to review a safety event, watch a live stream, or request a specific video clip, the Video Library has you covered.

You can watch live video from any camera-equipped vehicle that is currently on the road.

  1. Navigate to Safety Hub and then Video Library.
  2. Select the Live Streams tab.
  3. You will see a list of vehicles that are currently active and have cameras online.
  4. Click on a vehicle to open its live video feed.

Live streams are useful for:

  • Checking on a driver after receiving a safety alert.
  • Monitoring a high-value or sensitive load in transit.
  • Verifying driver behavior or road conditions in real time.

Note: Live streaming requires a stable cellular data connection on the vehicle’s camera device. If the stream is unavailable or poor quality, the vehicle may be in an area with limited connectivity.

If you need video footage from a specific time and place that is not already in your library, you can request it directly from the camera device.

  1. Navigate to Safety Hub and then Video Library.
  2. Click Request Video.
  3. Select the vehicle you want footage from.
  4. Choose the date and time range for the clip you need.
  5. Submit the request.

The camera device will upload the requested footage when it has a data connection. You will be notified when the clip is available for viewing.

Tip: Keep your time range as narrow as possible when requesting video. Shorter clips upload faster and are easier to review.

Your Video Library contains all previously uploaded and recorded video clips. You can browse and search the library to find the footage you need.

  1. Navigate to Safety Hub and then Video Library.
  2. Use the filters to narrow your search:
    • Vehicle — Select a specific vehicle.
    • Date range — Choose the time period you are interested in.
    • Event type — Filter by the type of safety event, if applicable.
  3. Click on a clip to play it.

From the video player, you can:

  • Play, pause, rewind, and fast-forward through the footage.
  • View clip metadata including the vehicle, driver, date, time, and location.
  • Download the clip for offline use or sharing.

When a safety alert is triggered (such as hard braking or distracted driving), the camera automatically records a video clip of the event. These event-linked clips are accessible in two ways:

  • From the Safety Alerts page — Each alert includes a direct link to its associated video clip.
  • From the Video Library — Event clips are stored alongside all other footage and can be found using the event type filter.

Event-linked videos typically include footage from a few seconds before and after the triggering event, giving you the full context of what happened.

Tip: Event-linked videos are some of the most valuable footage in your library. Use them for driver coaching sessions to show exactly what the camera detected and discuss better practices.
