Logging In

Once you have downloaded and installed the RouteMate app, you are ready to sign in. Your login credentials are set up by your company administrator, so you should have received your email and password before your first day on the road.

  1. Tap the RouteMate icon on your home screen or app drawer to open the app.
  2. You will see the RouteMate login screen with fields for your email and password.
  1. Enter the email address your company has on file for you. This is the same email your fleet manager or admin used when creating your driver account.
  2. Enter your password. If this is your first time logging in, use the temporary password provided to you by your administrator.
  3. Tap Log In.

Tip: Make sure you enter your email exactly as it was given to you, including any uppercase or lowercase letters. Email addresses are not case-sensitive, but passwords are.

If you cannot remember your password or your temporary password is not working:

  1. Tap the “Forgot Password?” link on the login screen.
  2. Enter the email address associated with your account.
  3. Tap Send Reset Link.
  4. Check your email inbox (and your spam/junk folder) for a password reset message from RouteMate.
  5. Follow the link in the email to create a new password.
  6. Return to the app and sign in with your new password.

Note: If you do not receive a reset email within a few minutes, double-check that you entered the correct email address. If the problem continues, contact your fleet manager or company administrator for help.

After a successful login, the app will guide you through the next steps:

  1. Vehicle Selection — You will be prompted to select the vehicle you are driving for this shift. This is important because your logs and ELD data are tied to a specific vehicle.
  2. ELD Connection — The app will attempt to connect to the ELD device in your selected vehicle via Bluetooth.
  3. Dashboard — Once setup is complete, you will land on your home screen where you can see your current duty status, HOS clocks, and more.

Tip: If you drive the same vehicle every day, the app will remember your last selection to save you time.

The app keeps you logged in between sessions so you do not have to enter your credentials every time you open it. You will only need to log in again if:

  • You manually log out from the app settings.
  • Your session has expired after an extended period of inactivity.
  • Your administrator resets your account.
